Soluble grades (PORTEX grades), are widely used as Inorganic Incombustible
High temperature binders, in Refractories, Ramming masses, Gunning &
Patching mixes, Refractory mortars, Lining, and Castables;
Doing away with cumbersome two component systems.
Considerable ease and precision in formulations and ready to mix systems possible.

Anhydrous powders are not soluble in cold water application.

These grades are known as ANPO grades.

The fused strength is promoted by Anhydrous varieties (ANPO grades)

USES:

  • In Acid resistant bricks and linings
  • In insulating bricks
  • In ceramics, tiles, and insulators
  • In applications where Sodium Silicate in dry form is preferred
  • In various other industries like detergents, grinding wheels, papers etc.
  • In Detergents, as replacement of Sodium Metasilicates etc.
